It was a pretty good beer on its own ...Nice review. It was a pretty good beer on its own but not the sort of thing I'd usually drink. It really came into its own with the Talisker chaser though; the balance between the peat smoke and sweet, malty beer was a revelation. In fact, I'd like to try it with something even peatier - an Ardbeg, for instance.
