A whole goddamn year

Fuck me. Time flies when you're having fun. It's been just over a year since I started Booze, Beats & Bites.

When I first started my blog, I didn't think anyone would read my shit, much less enjoy it. I'm still not sure why the fuck you guys read my blog or enjoy it in all honesty. Answers on the back of a postcard please.

Anyway, over this past year I've met some really fucking awesome people, drank some awesome beers, drank some dreadful beers, pissed people off, eaten delicious food and listened to some awesome music.

I've decided to mix things up a bit now, however, with regards to my BOOZE and BITES posts. BEATS will pretty much stay the same with interviews and reviews. But let me explain my beery & foodie plans...

BOOZE:

You would've noticed already that my last few beer reviews have been collaborative weird reviews with my good friend Jay. Well, I'd quite like to continue this theme of not reviewing the same beers as 90% of beer bloggers review. I'm searching for the weirdest and potentially disgusting beers I can get my hands on in order to review. If you come across any that I've not reviewed, please send them to me. You will be rewarded.

BITES:

Earlier today whilst sitting at work I came up with possibly the worst fucking idea ever. Hey, you're interested now if you weren't before. I'm going to review ready meals, tinned, food, processed food, packet food etc. What I'm hoping will be able to happen is every month I'll pick a food that comes in ready format like, for example, Macaroni Cheese, review the popular brands then at the end/start of the month I will actually create my own Macaroni Cheese (which will hopefully be better than the packaged stuff!) and post my recipe. I am also planning on reviewing fast food.

As always, if you've got a great idea for a guest blog or a collaborative blog I'm completely open to those but I will not pay expenses ;-)

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on my new direction!

Cheers for reading, bitches!

    1. It seems to be an oddly popular idea... although it has been proven that my readers like it when I torture myself!
